THE PLOT:
Twenty years ago, a experimental ship froze a Godzilla up at Antartica. Since then a super force of humans with mutant DNA
has been born, dedicated to defending the Earth from the scurge of giant monsters.
But these super humans have an eurge to fight all the time. They get their chance, as monsters start popping out of the
wood work, some not seen in decades and believed dead.
They disappeared as quickly as they appeared when "friendly" aliens "destroyed" them, but a nosey
reporter finds out the truth, these aren't friendly aliens and an important member of the Government is an imposter, the aliens
true goal is world domination to make humans cattle for they're evening meal.
Our only hope is to thaw Godzilla and trick him into fighting the other Monsters while chasing the ship that froze him
around the globe.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This has got to be the best Godzilla movie of this century. Seeing Godzilla a hero again really warms my heart and it's fun.
This one is fun, not so intense as some of the last couple movies, I love the one that plays the main villian. He was a
fun villian. A villian you love to hate. Having American Actors and Japanese actors were cool too, without reshooting it
like they did with the first movie was back in the day. Anyway, good Godzilla is back and I hope to stay. I for a party
of one can't wait for the next movie and I know there will be another movie. I give GODZILLA: FINAL WARS....10 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd for the most part, there were some minor character issues I had in the beginning. But they worked themselves
out. Anyway, as always. This kind of movie doesn't appeal to everyone, so if you don't like giant monsters in your movie.
This isn't the movie for you. I give it....10 STARS as well.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CHARACTERS (It was cool to see the older characters in a new light)
+ DESTROY ALL MONSTERS PLOT (That in my opinion is a winner)
+ COOL ALIENS (I liked the aliens)
+ COOL MAIN VILLIAN (The leader of the evil aliens was just cool)
+ NEW MONSTER (A new monster to add to the mix what they didn't do in DESTROY ALL MONSTERS)
+ HERO BIG G (It was good to see Godzilla as the hero for a change in new movies)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (VOLTRON didn't like some of the human characters at first)
AND FINALLY....
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on giant monster movies, then this isn't for you)
