Genre: Giant Monster Science Fiction TV Show/Cartoon
Format Used: Netflix DVD

THE PLOT:

Godzilla is back for a second season of the new series, battling new mutants and the old army. Creatures like giant shrews with whrilwind powers and a government conspiracy to breed giant scorpions in the desert with acid venom.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I liked the newer series as much as the classic Godzilla series however I do have one or two issues with this series. One, the monsters again don't have names for the most part and the one that did have a name was so lame, Shrewster, is that the best she could come up with? Two, the army always wanting to kill Godzilla even though at this point he liked saved thousands of lives proving he's nothing like his parent monster but no, if it's not "human" kill it. 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

Also, NIGEL getting destroyed in every episode is like Kenny in South Park dying in every episode, that can kind of old kind of fast. And I agree with what Zedd said about the army, for me I give this season 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORIES (The stories work.)
+ GOOD GODZILLA (Always like big G on the right side.)
+ MONSTERS (Cool monsters.)
+ CHARACTERS (The same strong characters from the movie plus new characters for the series.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- NO NAMES (The other monsters either have no names or lame names.)
- ARMY (It ain't human, kill it, no matter what is just wrong. No innocent until proven guilty for non-humans to the army.)
- N.I.G.E.L. (Always getting destroyed was cute at first but got old real fast.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the movie that spawned this series then you aren't going to like the series.)
