THE PLOT:
In an alternate universe a Godzilla rampaged and was stopped just like it happened in our universe. But they must have found
a different way to kill Godzilla there. Afterwords they was peace, no giant monsters, no alien invasions, nothing. Nothing
but a prophercy that Godzilla will return and that day has arrived.
Godzilla has indeed returned and yet he's still dead. What's worse then a two hundred foot mutant dinosaur? A two hundred
foot undead mutant dinosaur. But three guardians have been chosen to protect the Earth from the massive Zombie. Mothra,
Baragon and King Ghidorah.
But can they stop the undead menace of the zombie Godzilla?
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I liked seeing Baragon again, I liked the Baragon design ever since they first introduced him in FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE
WORLD. Also, they never really explained that his was a paralle universe, you kind of have to guess that yourself. Or that
this Godzilla is a zombie, but if you look into his eyes. You know, for the first time in fifty years Godzilla actually looked
scary. A zombie Godzilla is scary and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Anyway, it was exciting and the
effects were impressive. I give it...6 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd. But my question is simply this, is this a paralle univserse or did the writers just forget the other movies
(AGAIN)? Wouldn't be the first time. But Zombie Godzilla is scary and it would be cool in the next movie, if a rip in dimentions
causes Zombie Godzilla to enter our dimention and Godzilla from Final Wars has to fight him to keep Zombie Godzilla from destroying
our world. It can be called "GODZILLA VS. ZOMBIE GODZILLA". That would be so cool, but as for this, I give ALL
OUT ATTACK an all out 4 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ZOMBIE GODZILLA (It a scary kind of way, he's cool)
+ BARAGON (Baragon has always been one of my favorite monsters)
+ STORY (For the most part the story is interesting)
+ EXCITING (Very, verye exciting. Rarely a dull moment in a Godzilla movie)
+ EFFECTS (The CGI is impressive)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- PARALLE UNIVERSE OR SLOPPY WRITING (They never explained truely that this was an alternate dimention)
- ZOMBIE GODZILLA (Zedd doesn't know if Godzilla should be scary)
- WHY (What caused a coprse of a giant monster to come to life after fifty years and shouldn't there be more decay after
all that time?)
